Get in the Groove
it could be helpful to share the schedule that we came up
with. We are also really flexible within this structure, but
the general framework still helps us be productive!
SCHEDULE
7:30am : Wake Up
8:00am : Work Out
8:30am : Breakfast
9:00am : Reading (for us, it’s the Bible)
9:30am : Work (either House or Office)
12:00 : Lunch
1:00pm : Work (either House or Office)
• Food: Time to start developing your culinary skills!
• Plan a wide variety of foods to eat to keep you
from food boredom
• I personally love cookbooks: they help me be
creative and try things I never would have thought
to search on my own. Some of my favorites include
(again, not an endorsement):
• The Defined Dish Alex Snodgrass
• No Crumbs Left Teri Turner
• The Whole Smiths Good Food Cookbook
Michelle Smith
* The above women also have blogs and
Instagram accounts if you need inspiration
5:30pm : Prepare Dinner • Create detailed weekly grocery shopping lists and
be flexible if the store is out of what you want
• Check with your favorite local restaurants for their
curbside or delivery options
7:00pm : Evening Entertainment • No cell phone while in bed
4:00pm : Walk around the neighborhood
(weather permitting)
9:30pm : Bed Time
Here are some other tips we found:
• Make your bed as soon as you get out of it! It really
helps you start the day on a productive note
• Working Out: DO IT! there are a ton of great resources
out there for low/no equipment workouts:
• Beach Body On Demand
(what we use… not an endorsement)
• Aaptiv
• Peloton
• Gyms and Strength & Conditioning Departments
are putting out different daily workouts… get on
social media to find what could work for you!
• Go for an outdoor run or walk
• No checking social media prior to morning reading
Again, we definitely have already failed to keep at least
one of these things every day this week, but feel like this
structure has prepared us to establish good habits (working
out, reading daily, eating well) all while staying up to date
with our jobs and our housework. This works for us, and we
hope some of these tips can help you establish a routine that
works for you! Looking forward to seeing you all in person
again soon!
• No TV on during the day
• Set up dedicated “Office” space with a chair & desk
• Evening Entertainment Options
• Check for Local Musicians playing concerts on
Facebook Live
• Local Brewery hosted Trivia on Instagram
• Playing Games/Cards/Puzzles
• The obvious: Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Amazon
Prime, etc…
Stay Home & Wash Those Hands!
