was hard to grasp at first. It was hard for me
to believe that it was really happening.”
“It was like waking up and being in a night-
mare. With a bad dream, you are happy that
you woke up from the dream, but I could not
wake up from that one.”
No longer enrolled at Temple, Anderson
would enroll at Florida Tech, a junior college.
He did not play for the Panthers, but he con-
centrated on studying.
May 9th, 2015 is important to Robby. He
went out to celebrate his 22nd birthday with
his family.
“I kid you not, last year on my 22nd birthday,
I went out to eat with my family. I made a
wish. My wish was to go back to Temple. I
swear to God two days later, Coach Rhule sent
me a text asking for my junior college tran-
scripts.”
“I am thinking, why is he asking me this. I sent
it to him quickly. I talked to my mom, and she
said he would not be asking me for no particu-
lar reason. She also told me not to get my hopes
up too high but to keep praying. Then Coach
Rhule called me that night and gave me the
whole run
