Math Unbounded Duration Meeting Times Full Year Tuesday, Lunch Eligibility Grade 8–12 to Junior School students who have been identified by their teachers as needing extra one-to-one assistance with course work. In addition to academics, the “senior buddies” offer their “junior buddies” organizational assistance as it relates to regular study habits, test preparation, and agenda use. Junior and senior buddies are partnered for a whole year. Peer-Tutoring Senior Duration Meeting Times Full Year Tuesday, Lunch Friday, Lunch Eligibility Grade 8–12 Students help each others in all subject areas, on a regular basis and on a drop-in basis. The students are looking at the study of mathematics through preparation for competitions such as the prestigious Math Challengers at UBC/SFU, plus other mathematical opportunities and unique experiences. Multicultural Duration Meeting Times Full Year Thursday, Lunch Eligibility Grade 8–12 The multicultural club is a place where students can meet in a relaxed environment, make friends and practice cross-cultural understanding. The club aims to promote a positive atmosphere towards multiculturalism in the school through a combination of both fun and serious activities. It also collaborates with the Modern Languages Department for special events such as Language Celebration Week.
