March of DImes
Better World Books’ mission is to help break
the cycle of poverty through education and literacy…one book at a time. Better World Books
(BWB) is a for-profit social enterprise that collects used books and sells them online to raise
money for literacy initiatives worldwide.
The March of Dimes is the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health. March
of Dimes was founded in 1938 by Franklin D. Roosevelt, but was originally known as the National
Foundation for Infantile Paralysis. The March
of Dimes Mission is “To improve the health of
babies by preventing birth defects, premature
birth, and infant mortality.”
