Attendance Policy
The Certified Nurse Aide Program is a one hundred hour program , consisting of fifty hours of classroom time , and fifty hours of clinical . The program is in compliance with the Federal Medicare / Medicaid regulations ( 42 CFR 483.152 ) and the Public Health Code of the State of Connecticut , Section 19-13-D8t ( 1 ).
In order for our instructors to sign-off on your Certificate of Completion and application for state testing , you must attend ALL classroom and clinical sessions . If you are absent from a clinical day , for any reason , a makeup date will be scheduled at student ' s expense .
Only one classroom absence is allowed per semester , provided that all mandatory homework be completed and handed in at the start of the very next class .
I have received the attendance policy and understand that attendance at all classes and clinical sessions is mandatory and there will be a charge for any markup required for me to complete my one hundred hours .
