Medical Excellence Golf Classic Heroes for Hospice 5K/10K Pauline Ruth, 2016 Ms. Missouri Nursing Home Queen Golden Age Games Burgundy Ball 4 Fifty-one teams gathered for the annual Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation Medical Excellence Golf Classic at Silo Ridge Golf and Country Club in Bolivar. The teams of four competed to raise money for the CMH Medical Excellence Scholarship program. 4 Pauline Ruth, resident at Butterfield Residential Care Center was crowned the 2016 Missouri Health Care Association’s District 4 Ms. Missouri Nursing Home Queen. 4 Five Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation long-term care facilities and two CMH assist- ed living/residential care centers received the Excellence in Action award from My InnerV- iew by National Research Corporation (NRC). The CMH facilities that received the customer satisfaction award included: Ash Grove Health- care Facility, Ash Grove; Butterfield Residential Care Center, Bolivar; Colonial Springs Healthcare Center, Buffalo; Community Springs Health- care Facility, El Dorado Springs; Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility and Assisted Living Facility, Stockton; and Parkview Health Care Facility, Bolivar. 4 Howard Cook, a charge nurse for Citizens Me- morial Healthcare Facility, was named Missouri Health Care Association District IV Employee of the Year. Cook received the award during the MHCA Mini Convention. He has worked for CMHCF for 28 years. 4 Penny Wilson, CDM, CFPP, nutritional services manager at Parkview Health Care Facility, was named the Association of Nutrition and Food- service Professionals Member of the Year. Wilson received this award at the Missouri ANFP State Spring Conference in Booneville. 7
