In 1986, the CMH Foundation was established to assist the hospital with future growth. The hospital currently rents from the Foundation all or a portion of 20 primary and specialty physician clinics and other administrative buildings. The Foundation currently operates one assisted living facility; five independent living communities; one residential care facility; six long-term care skilled nursing facilities; eight home medical equipment locations; Home Health and Hospice; Health Transit and Homemaker Plus.
