I
want to highlight some points of interest in South Mississippi that many people may not be aware of. To better align with how travel planning is done by most people today, I ' ll outline the hotspots and suggest creating a GPS route that avoids highways and gravel roads.
We ' ll start this ride early in the day at the hometown church of Jerry Clower, also where he was laid to rest, East Fork Baptist Church, just outside of Liberty. From there, the crash site of the band Lynyrd Skynyrd is just a short ride South, where a memorial has been built to commemorate the site. From
