KIRSTIN
Skaggs brought a wealth of experience from her previous position with a financial institution, where she worked with investments, insurance, and general banking activities. She joined the Finance Department staff in late 2023. Since joining our team, Kirstin has continued to grow in her role and now serves as our Chief Financial Officer.
Your CMA Support Center is a busy place, and as CFO, Kirstinβ s day-to-day list of responsibilities is just as full as everyone elseβ s. She audits, develops, and manages all Finance Department processes. This includes managing all banking functions, including reconciliations and reporting, as well as the purchase order process. Ensuring proper budget allocation and approval is paramount to good stewardship. She not only monitors her team to ensure the mission is moving forward and offers any assistance, but also processes mail pertaining to donations, billing, registrations, and all other CMA financial support. She also reviews Evangelists ' personal and state rally reports and creates review charts and graphs in any spare time she has.
CMA is an accredited member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability( ECFA) and has earned a five-star( their highest) rating with MinistryWatch. Your CMA Finance Department is all about good stewardship. Donate with confidence and invest in the Kingdom through the CMA general fund to keep the Support Center operating at max efficiency.
Kirstin has several goals for her department: cutting the fat and gaining efficiency wherever she can, while making sure everyone is comfortable, confident, and proficient in their job. She is a big proponent of cross-training. Being able to move her people around to cover any absences is extremely beneficial in keeping the Finance Department working at peak efficiency. She isnβ t alone; a talented team of ladies backs her.
Sheila Clark β Run for the Son Coordinator Sheila has been knee-deep in RFS activities for many years, including serving as Chapter RFS Secretary for seven years, RFS Texas NE State Lead with her husband for two more years, and now at Hatfield in the Support Center for an additional three years. Day to day, she processes mail, documents RFS money and general donations in the computer, and makes any needed web corrections for online donations, ACH deposits, and credit cards.
RFS season, being a few months out of the year, is a myth; it takes time and attention on nearly a daily basis to keep the system running. In April, Sheila will move out to the warehouse and set up the RFS Command Center. Six teams of volunteers process recap sheets, total monies, confirm check totals, and rectify the chapterβ s information. Recaps are then entered into the system to credit the individual chapters correctly. On RFS Day, six or seven volunteers will handle the phones to take chapter reports; Sheila posts Facebook updates periodically. She then prepares materials for June Rally, confirms banner information, and gathers incentive shirts to distribute at the rally.
Sheila has a big job, and her mottoβ Get through today and donβ t leave anything undone,β has served her well. She thanks you all for your contributions of resources, finances, and time that help to keep RFS going.
Kirstin is just one story of the impact donations to the general fund make in supporting the National / International Support Center. General donations and the sale of Goodies fund the operations and maintenance at CMA National, as well as provide for the maintenance and upkeep of our Iron Mountain facilities.
Above all, we want to thank you for your continued faithfulness to the ministry of CMA. Through your generosity, we are able to support evangelistic outreach to the motorcycling community worldwide with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
