TESTIMONIES right inner thigh hurt badly .

I then prayed to God , thanking Him for saving my life . I asked Him to let me walk again , alone , with no pain , and be with my family . By then , Jay was kneeling down , patting me , and saying you will be okay . He prayed over me .
Then I heard sirens . The sheriff was there . The fire department guy was there asking me questions to see if I was coherent , and I was . Then , the firefighter put a neck brace on me and took my jacket and vest off me . Ambulance techs put me on a stretcher , loaded me in the ambulance , and took me to the hospital . They did a CT scan on my head , neck , chest , organs , and pelvic area . They also did an X-ray of my left foot and inner right thigh .
I ’ m fortunate I ’ m alive . God has given me a second chance in life . When I came home from the hospital , I had several wonderful CMA friends come over with food , provide a wheelchair and walker , and many sent get-well cards . I also had several CMA friends call and check on me . Two CMA friends came over several times and helped rewrap my foot , got me ice for my foot , and fixed my meals . My sister came from out of state and stayed with me for a week to help me so Jay could attend the Changing of the Colors in Hatfield , Arkansas . I enjoyed each visit ; it meant so much that they took the time to visit me . CMA friends and my sister have such servant ’ s hearts .
During my healing process of several months , I had a lot of time to reflect and talk to God . I prayed the young girl who hit me would return to the driver ’ s seat . I think God was telling me the same thing , too . Your first thought after an accident is not to drive or ride again because you are fearful .
I received a card from a good friend that encouraged me to get back on the bike . She sent prayers for healing and bone mending in Jesus ’ name . She wrote 1 Peter 2:24 and Isaiah 53:4-5 . Fear has no place because 2 Timothy 1:7 says , β€œ For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear , but [ He has given us a spirit ] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [ abilities that result in a calm , well-balanced mind and self-control ]” ( AMP ).
I think God was telling me and the young girl to drive again and get back on the bike . Honestly , I was fearful the first couple of times I got back on the bike . God and I were riding together , and He took the fear away and taught me to be more alert in all my surroundings when driving .
One year and three months after my accident , I had the opportunity to meet the mom of the girl that I had the accident with . I told her who I was and that I had been praying for her and her daughter . The mom said they had been praying for me too . The mom and I both had tears in our eyes . I reached out and asked if I could hug her , and we hugged . The mom asked if she could tell her daughter she met me , and I said absolutely . I asked the mom if her daughter was driving again , and she said yes .
I said I was glad to hear that because getting your license is a big deal . I informed her that I was doing well and I was riding again . I call this a God moment . God had this planned out that I would meet the mom . I believe God wanted me to have closure from the accident .
That ’ s exactly what it did because I know the young girl is doing okay , and I am okay , too .
God heard my prayers and healed me . I am walking and praising God . I am grateful that God gave me more time to be with my family and friends and to go out and tell people about Jesus .
If you have had an accident and are unsure if you want to ride again , I recommend praying and seeking answers from God . He has a plan and a purpose for all of us . God is always ready and willing to listen and answer you . CMA
