CASSIDI Hankins, the CMA Events and Membership Coordinator / Executive Assistant, came to the Christian Motorcyclists Association with a wellrounded background, including a bachelorβ s degree in mass communications, experience in journalism as a reporter in both TV and print, and, last but not least, six years as a kindergarten teacher. She doesnβ t seem to think her experience necessarily relates to her responsibilities at CMA, but has been amazed at how God has connected the dots to paint the picture of her life and equip her for her position. I think we can all relate to that. Life is like a tapestry as we look at the random threads, loose ends, and unrecognizable pattern on the back. All the while God sees the front and admires the beautiful masterpiece He is weaving into our lives. We are loved!
The Hankins had little previous riding experience when, one day, her husband came home with a Ninja, expecting her to ride with him. Most of us who ride sportbikes know that two-up is not ideal. Jarrod wised up and soon got a better-suited machine. A friend who was a CMA member invited them on a ride. They went

with no intention of joining the ministry, but in 2015, a loving Mississippi chapter drew them into the CMA family.
At the 2020 Seasons of Refreshing, having never been to Iron Mountain, Cassidi saw a vision of the bell tower and heard an audible voice,β Go to Arkansas.β Yes, Lord, but how do I tell my husband? After the service, he looked at her and said,β I guess we are going to Arkansas.β
They committed to attending the Changing of the Colors Rally that year. Cassidi and Jarrod went to the front and prayed, just wanting whatever God had for them. They expected another obvious sign, but none appeared. Going home, they thought, OK God, we went to Arkansas and checked that box, but now what? In answer to that question, sometime later, someone from Hatfield contacted them about the Events position, and Cassidi and Jarrod joined the Support Center staff in August of 2021.
People often remark to her, I know you are busy during the Colors Rally, but what do you do the rest of the time? Iβ m glad that question was asked because it speaks to the purpose of this series of HeartBeat articles for 2026: to inform you, the members

, of all that goes on in your Support Center daily. Changing of the Colors is only a small part of her daily workload for the Events Department, which also includes CMA national event planning for the Colors Rally, National Rally, Pastors Conference, and mission trips, and providing support for state events such as Rallies and Season of Refreshing.
Her goal for the Events Department is to support CMA ' s mission by serving people well, distributing resources wisely, and creating an environment where members feel encouraged, connected, and equipped.
Cassidiβ s faithful team consists of Nelda Tipton, who, along with her husband, Chuck, is a former Area Rep from New Mexico. They were involved in the ministry from the very beginning and were part of Chapter # 1 in Phoenix, Arizona. Nelda, along with her sweet spirit, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the department. Lexi Trinidad, who grew up in the ministry, holds the same position her mom, Misty, started in 19 years ago. As one of the newest members of the Support Center team, she is eager to work and brings fire and zeal to her position. Together, they process new memberships and updates, con-
