BEING
CMA Italy is quite easy . There are beautiful landscapes , friendly people , and lots of motorcycling happening almost all year round . It ' s a fantastic way to live our faith with old and new friends .
Being CMA Italy can be hard at times . Nominal religion prevents people from listening to the Gospel with a fresh attitude . Motorcycling is often seen as a way of escaping everyday life . Therefore , Christian values are not the first topic that springs into riders ' and bikers ' minds when planning some time on their beloved mounts .
Being CMA Italy is fulfilling . These last few years saw a new birth of our country ' s ministry , leaders , ideas , forces , and enthusiasm . We quickly went from 5 members to 20 , ranging from the North to the South of the Italian peninsula . Different denominations , ages , languages , motorcycling styles , and spiritual gifts are now represented . We regularly meet , in person or via Zoom , to spend time together , pray , and update the team on what is happening in Italy and elsewhere .
2023 saw more visits to motorcycling clubs inviting CMA Italy to their meetings and rallies . CMA Italy can briefly share the Word and leave Gospel Bibles and other items on these occasions . More than this , CMA Italy members are progressively known as Christian bikers / riders , and opportunities to share our faith multiply while we make new friends . Please pray that we can keep attending a growing number of these events and that CMA voice , therefore the Gospel , will be heard loud and clear .
We also experienced the first setbacks , specifically through a group of secular bikers who decided we could not be friends . Please pray that our peaceful attitude will convince them we are not a threat and that some of our members will be able to be received in that context , bringing the Good News along .
2024 opened with the critical Verona-based MBE motorcycling event , the largest in Italy and one of the most important in Europe . MBE has also had the opportunity to meet with our brothers and sisters from CMA USA , who came to be with us and show their support . Their presence warmed our hearts and encouraged us all to keep investing in a two-wheeled version of the Gospel of eternal life . Brothers and sisters from France , Luxembourg , Switzerland , and Croatia came and lived with us during this important time of reaching out and fellowship , and we praise the Lord for them !.
Please pray that CMA Italy and the CMA crew worldwide will be able to keep up the good work for Jesus , riding with the Son and changing the world , one heart at a time . CMA
