CMA Netherlands , we are thankful to be part of CMA International , one family , spreading the Gospel worldwide to bikers of all kinds .
CMA Netherlands started in 1998 , so we will celebrate our twenty-fourth anniversary this year . There were times of celebration and times of sadness , but we have experienced the presence of God our Heavenly Father in all times . In CMA Netherlands , we participate in a wide variety of activities . Now that the restrictions of the Covid-regulations are almost behind us , we organize a church for bikers twice a month , visit befriended motorcycle clubs , and ride along with motorcycle-touring events . When possible this year , we hope to participate in the unicycle demo-racing . By participating , we experienced to have easier access in the world of 1 % MC clubs .
Furthermore , we serve by pouring coffee at biker meeting points . This gives us great opportunities for meeting bikers and having good talks . Sometimes we also help out in the first-aid on shows .
In lockdown times , due to Covid , we could not do the things we normally do . Some members organized an online church for bikers , and we now have them on our YouTube channel CMA NEDER- LAND . The Hope for the Highway Bible plays a central role in our ministry . We also came up with the idea of sending people the Hope for the Highway for free . We had several ads on Facebook and sent a Christmas card with an invitation to ask for a free copy of the Hope for the Highway .
We have seen people who read the HFTH come to Jesus and join CMA . Recently someone requested a copy of the HFTH . This person is taking a trip around the world on a motorbike to get back in touch with himself . He also wants to explore the HFTH to discover who God is . Isn ’ t it amazing ? We keep him in our prayers .
Despite the lockdowns , we still experience some membership growth . We see God ’ s blessings in this , and we know that He is not limited by anything . We are very grateful for the new members and
pray that more people will join the ministry of CMA .
At last , this is the last time I write as president of CMA Netherlands . From 2013 it has been my privilege and honor to serve CMA Netherlands as president . In April this year , I resigned at the annual meeting of CMA Netherlands . But , of course , I will not leave CMA , and I trust God will show me how to use my talents in the future . I am thankful for everything I have experienced in my journey with the CMA family worldwide and wish you all God ’ s blessings ! CMA
