CMA International

me start off by saying
what a great joy it is to
serve in this ministry. This year cele-
brates the 39th year of CMA in
South Africa, and what an incredible
journey of growth it continues to be.
Over the last 15 years of me being
part of this amazing family…I can’t
say anything other than glory to
God for the life-changing work CMA
has done and continues to do
among the motorcyclists, their fam-
ilies, and friends of this wonderful
nation. South Africa is a diverse
nation, with a future as bright as it is
challenging, and this is where
CMASA steps in..
Over the last year, CMASA has
gained momentum and built rela-
tionships in various communities
across the country. We’ve seen this
even more so in the world of motor-
cycling. In the Northern Cape
Province, our Regional Leader, Jos
Steenvat, and his team are doing a
great job in giving hope in less fortu-
nate communities and sharing the
love of Jesus and the free gift of
Salvation. In conjunction with the
Bikers Churches in the area, we are
Let
truly seeing God do an amazing
work of growth, with CMA as eager
servants, using their motorcycles as
ministry tools. In the Limpopo and
Mpumalanga Provinces, Marius
Maidman, Pastor Jackie van Dyk,
and their teams are a genuine
example of what God can do
amongst the bikers with a team that
is dedicated to moving with God.
Gauteng Province, the most
densely populated area in this coun-
try, is most certainly also the area
with the largest available harvest.
Paul Wright, David Bender, and their
dynamic teams have brought great
renewal amongst the CMA members
in Gauteng and continue to be an
inspiration of servanthood. With the
guidance of these two men, CMA
has had the opportunity to minister
at countless rallies, gatherings, and
jols. A big focus for CMA SA over the
past year has been to show a
stronger presence at the gather-
ings/events of the various motorcy-
cle counsels which regulate biker
oriented events. This has gained the
CMA ministry tremendous respect
amongst the hardened bikers for the
high standard which this ministry
maintains. This respect continues to
deliver fruit as relationships are
strengthened and hearts open to
receive the Gospel.
We can continue to mention the
countless mighty men and women
of God in CMASA for the eternal,
life-changing work each of them do.
We can elaborate on the many ral-
lies, gatherings, and jols where CMA
has made a huge, yet humble
impact…but running out of words, I
can only say that Christian
Motorcyclists Association of South
Africa is alive and growing. Most
important of all, we are growing
our Heavenly Father’s Kingdom.
The continual success of CMA in our
nation is not measured by the size
of CMA, but by the amount of souls
with which we grow the Kingdom. A
huge shout out and “thank you” to
each and every leader and member
of CMA South Africa.
It is an honour to serve with you,
in this mighty army of God –
Keep on Riding for the Son. CMA

for CMA South Africa.
