SIMPLE ACT, BIG IMPACT praying for me
AFTER for 27 years, my mother found a tract in the doctor’ s office; it said on the front,“ He Would’ ve Ridden a Harley.” I really enjoyed that tract. It pulled at my heartstrings. I put it on my mantle, and all the crazy bikers who were in and out of my house picked it up, read it, and wanted it, but I wouldn’ t give it to them. I told them,“ My mother sent that to me, and you can’ t have it!”
I was living in the Pasadena, South Houston area of Texas, running around with all the wrong crowd; drinking and doing all the drugs I could get my hands on, and

it was controlling my life. I was in the middle of a divorce. I had three young children( 6, 3, and 2) in my custody, and I wasn’ t about to give them up, even though all my friends told me to put them up for foster care.“ You don’ t need to be taking care of these three kids at your age,” they said.“ You need to enjoy your life, party, and ride your bike.” I couldn’ t do that. I loved my girls too much, so I packed up, tucked tail, and moved back to Ohio, back with my mom to help me raise my girls. To make a long story short, I ended up going to the Baptist church in our community.
At my first Sunday school service, the guy talking was dressed really nicely, but I noticed he was wearing motorcycle boots. After the service was over, I asked him,“ What’ s with the motorcycle boots?” He told me he rode a Harley-Davidson with the Christian Motorcyclists Association, that they were going to a meeting that afternoon, and asked me if I wanted to go. I said, " Sure, let me check with my mom and make sure it’ s okay to leave the girls with her.” She said it was fine, so I went to my first CMA

meeting. At the meeting, they had all these tracts laid out for anybody to take and use in the ministry. Imagine my surprise to see,“ He Would’ ve Ridden a Harley.” Believe it or not, I had not read the back of the tract and seen that it was put out by the Christian Motorcyclists Association. I started telling Bob that my mom had sent one of those tracts to me a couple of years ago, when I was living near Houston. Come to find out, his doctor and my mom ' s doctor were in the same office. He had placed that tract on the table at the doctor’ s office, and my mother picked it up and mailed it to me!
That’ s not a coincidence! Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. My mother and that tract got my attention and saved my life.
So don’ t think that you are wasting your time and money placing tracts, giving out coins, rag tracts, and Hope for the Highways, if just one works … Heaven will be rejoicing!!! CMA
