Jesus heard it, He departed from there by boat to a deserted place by Himself. But when the multitudes heard it, they followed Him on foot from the cities. And when Jesus went out, He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them and healed their sick. When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying,“ This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food.” But Jesus said to them,“ They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.” And they said to Him,“ We have here only five loaves and two fish.” He said,“ Bring them here to Me.” Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes

. So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children”( Matthew 14:13-21, NKJV).

In this setting of scripture there are a few things that stand out, first Jesus was moved with compassion when He saw the multitudes; His heart reached out to them, and He took action to minister to their needs. Next, there was the need to provide a meal for five thousand plus people.

This represents who we are in the call of God in our lives. God birthed the ministry of CMA to take the message of hope to the motorcycling world. We minister at all types of locations, from small gatherings to rallies attended by hundreds of thousands of people, such as Daytona Beach and Sturgis. In order to do this, we must be moved with compassion as Jesus was. It is Jesus who

gives us favor and opens doors that we may minister to the biker community. He provides the means to expand His Kingdom and accomplish His will.

We are the hands and feet of Jesus in the midst of the crowds. We share the love of Jesus, pointing people to Him. In our willingness to give of our time, our support, our efforts, even though we may feel our portion is small, He can touch hearts and change lives. In our obedience to God’ s call and direction, we are changing the world, one heart at a time.
