My guess is you didn ’ t expect that statement above to end with thanking the community . How can the chapter serve at a local festival , art show , car , boat , or motorcycle show , and why should they ? Giving back to the community is not only a gesture of goodwill , but a Christian perspective of God ’ s will for the direction your chapter should be engaged in .
Having conversations with local contacts about what you recently accomplished during Run for the Son season and what it is all about may be very valuable during the new Run for the Son season . In addition , you now have new contacts for opportunities and may be able to plan one of those events while serving at another .
I encourage you to serve in your local community , build relationships , and share your Run for the Son successes and challenges . These relationships will prove beneficial as you move along in the 2023 Run for the Son season . CMA
