side of the road . It seemed that one rider on a Can-Am Spyder had an oil leak and his transmission was no longer shifting . Now some of us are a little mechanically savvy , but not on a Can-Am Spyder . After several panels and covers were removed , nothing revealed a leak , so we decided to keep adding oil to get back to Gillette . While we were there , a pair of bikes rode past us , and then proceeded to turn around and come back to our mobile roadside Can-Am work detail . When they passed us , I noticed they were wearing colors from a secular club . They were very polite and asked if we needed anything . We explained the situation . Unless they were Can-Am mechanics , there probably wasn ’ t much they could do . We thanked them for stopping and the four of them , left on their Road Glides .

We decided to ride the nine miles back to Devil ’ s Tower and eat at The Devil ’ s Tower Gulch . When we pulled in and parked , we noticed that the two Road Glides we saw earlier were there also . We went in , ordered , and noticed that the two secular bikers and their girlfriends / wives were getting ready to leave . We went out and blessed their bikes and prayed with them . They were so appreciative and thanked us several times .

When we returned to our table , the waitress told us that as we were pulling up , one of them had said , “ Hey look it ’ s those CMA riders that were stranded .” Then one of the women that was with them said , “ They weren ’ t stranded , Jesus rides with them .”

“ If anyone serves Me , let him follow Me ; and where I am , there My servant will be also . If anyone serves Me , him My Father will honor ” ( John 12:26 , NKJV ).

Although our ride didn ’ t go as planned , we all knew that God planned the events of that day for us and for those we encountered . That is what the CMA mission is all about . Being followers of Christ sometimes means just that . We must take the roads that He directs us down , no matter what we might have planned .

Mike ’ s Can-Am Spyder did not leak oil anymore after our encounter at The Gulch , and it made the 60 miles back to Gillette . CMA
