MOSKO MOTO RECKLESS 10 OFF
ROAD LUGGAGE SYSTEM 1985 I purchased a Honda
IN V65 Sabre as my first road machine after owning several offroad bikes . My quest for a luggage system was frustrating . I ended up buying two cheap soft luggage bags at JC Penney . I tied the handles together with rope and ended up with my first soft motorcycle bags . They were cheap , not reliable , and ugly on my new bike . Fortunately , times have changed , and we have a multitude of options now . It would not be an objective review unless I tried several of the other options out there over the years . I like to do my research , and after purchasing my Husqvarna FE 501s , I tried to find the highest quality bags with good value . This search led me to Mosko Moto since I had been seriously looking at them . Mosko Moto sells directly from the factory resulting in increased value . I wanted a minimalist bag and settled on the Reckless 10 with the 8L bag that fits nicely on top . I purchased two bottle holders for extra fuel or water . These are military-grade equipment that will keep gear dry and last for years .
Two requirements were that it had to be waterproof and zero zippers as they are the weak link in other soft bags from my experience . The beauty of these bags is that the roll-top dry bags fit in a ballistic nylon outer shell that adds a tough layer of protection . Mosko Moto uses the MOLLE system used extensively in the military to attach an assortment of equipment . The MOLLE system is light , tough , and versatile . The system straps to the bike securely , so you never have to worry about anything shaking off . These are simply the toughest soft bags I have ever used .
My little 10L bags hold rain gear on one side and tools on the other . The 8L bag on top will hold a light jacket with several snacks and a water bottle . If that is not large enough , Mosko Moto also offers a 40L and 80L version in the Reckless system .
Many prefer the 40L even on small dual sport bikes , while the 80L is suitable for larger adventure bikes . Also , consider the 35L Backcountry Pannier kit that requires a rack and has an ingenious mounting system making the
