WE exist in a world that is slowly moving more and more away from the standards of the Bible . It is clear to many that the prince of darkness is hard at work trying to thwart the efforts of God ’ s children . The Bible predicts that a time will come , and I feel it may already be here when people will publicly denounce God .
In 2 Peter we read this warning ; “ Most importantly , I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come , mocking the truth and following their own desires . They will say , ‘ What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again ? From before the times of our ancestors , everything has remained the same since the world was first created ’” ( 2 Peter 3:3-4 , NLT ).
For sure , we see the worldly ways trying to seep into our minds through the internet or in television programming . But we that are in Christ have victory over the world if we remain focused on the Scripture . Romans says , “ If God is for us , who can ever be against us ?” ( Romans 8:31b , NLT ). And rest assured my Brothers and Sisters in Christ , no one can ever come against us because God is for us ! Later , in the same chapter of Romans , we read this ; “ And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God ’ s love . Neither death nor life , neither angels nor demons , neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow – not even the powers of hell can separate us

from God ’ s love . No power in the sky above or in the earth below – indeed , nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord ” ( Romans 8:38-39 , NLT ).
This powerful truth reminds me that even though I am in a world littered with evil , I will fear no evil , for God is with me as I share the Gospel and take the hope found only in Christ to the streets .
In a Billy Graham message many years ago , he said , “ The world is keenly aware of its emptiness , of its unfulfilled dreams , of its failure to cope with life . The world system is inadequate to meet the deeper needs of the human heart . This is ideal for the implanting of the Gospel . God has seen fit to entrust the work of His Kingdom to us . If the world system is changed , it will be through our witness . The primary responsibility of the Christian in not to reform the world nor to remake the world system , but to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel – that God loves the world , has redeemed it through the cross of our Savior and seeks to save it .” ( Decision magazine 1 / 2022 ).
It is critical in these end times that we , CMA , take every possible opportunity to share and demonstrate the love of Christ to a lost world . In Ephesians , we read , “ Imitate God , therefore , in everything you do , because you are his dear children . Live a life filled with love , following the example of Christ . He loved us and offered

himself as a sacrifice for us , a pleasing aroma to God ” ( Ephesians 5:1-2 , NLT ). From Philippians , “ And I am certain the God , who began the good work within you , will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day Christ Jesus returns ” ( Philippians 1:6 , NLT ). I believe His return is very soon . Can we truly say we have done enough for the Kingdom ? He will come as a thief in the night . Are we ready ? CMA
