WE call ourselves the
Christian Motorcyclists Association . Our vision is changing the world , one heart at a time .
“ And Jesus came and spoke to them , saying , ‘ All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth . Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations , baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit ’” ( Matthew 28:18-19 , NKJV ).
This scripture tells of the heart of God . He is a loving God who desires to see all people come to know Him and be discipled in His ways . It is from this desire that God birthed CMA . He saw a group of people where no one was making disciples . In fact , the Christians of that day were shunning the bikers . CMA was birthed to fulfill the heart of God to the bikers of the world . From this , you can see that CMA is not just a good thing ; it is a God thing . It is His will and heart that bikers come to know Him and His salvation through Christ .
Through the leading of His Spirit , God connected us with a need for transportation for indigenous pastors . It just so happened that motorcycles worked best for them , and the connection in the Spirit was made . It ’ s easy to see that Run for the Son is not a good thing ; it is a God thing . Not only does it reach out to third-world countries empowering the spread of the Gospel , but it also advances ministry to the bikers . We are His hands extended to the motorcycling world . As we have seen His miracle-working power and transformation in our own lives , we can share this hope with others , for God has not only called us but also given us the provisions to accomplish His will .
This year we have experienced the largest Run for the Son in the history of CMA , an indication that God wants us to do more ; He is expanding our call and opening new areas of ministry to us . You are reaching a million bikers a year in the USA alone . What a
blessing that God would ask us to be a part of what He is doing . I am proud to be a part of what God is doing through you , the family of CMA . Who are we ? Men and women of God called of God to the motorcycling world .
Be encouraged . Follow Jesus , move through the doors He opens . Stay focused on Jesus . You can follow Him . You can trust Him . You are changing the world , one heart at a time . CMA
