From from the CEO By JOHN Ogden Sr “TRUST in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6, KJV). This scripture is one that has been part of my life and continues to guide us in the ministry of CMA. As a ministry, we are actively acknowledging God and seeking to follow Him into the future. We are seeking Him as we make plans and He is directing our paths. Where He leads, we must follow. These past few months have truly been a walk of faith, and He has proven once again to be faithful. We look forward to the future and the plans that are coming into place as we prepare for this year’s Changing of the Colors Rally. This homecoming of our CMA Family will be especially exciting as we celebrate 45 years of ministry to motorcyclists and all that God has done and is doing through the ministry of CMA. You and your family are personally invited to come and be part of this historic event. As we prepare to welcome our CMA Family home this October, we have been working on Iron Mountain in two key areas: creating a safe, fun, and comfortable area for children under four and upgrading the camping/parking areas around the mountain. BIBLE BUDDIES CMA loves families. For years, we have had a special place in the pavilion for the youngest of those who come to our events, but it has been on our heart to create something more permanent for them. This space is called Bible Buddies and is a sound proof, air-conditioned space at the back of the pavilion. Staffed with background checked volunteers, we want families to feel welcome to come to the rally and confident in knowing that CMA ministers to the youngest of our rally attendees. EXPANDED PARKING & CAMPING As we looked at Iron Mountain during rallies, we noticed a need for more flat spots for camping and parking. As a result, we added parking around the road that circles the Pavilion and upgraded the camping beyond this area. These changes will make access to Iron Mountain easier and will accommodate more people more comfortably. We cannot wait for you to see these changes and to see you this October. We invite you to come, be part of this year’s event. Come and celebrate with us. Come and be refreshed and renewed. Come, ride with us this October 21-25 in the beautiful Ouachita Mountains in Hatfield, Arkansas. CMA John Ogden Sr is CEO/Chairman of the Board of Directors. 05⎪AUGUST 2020⎪www.cmausa.org
