April HeartBeat
Rose and Donnie shared this testimony with us at Nebraska Season of Refreshing. I thought this would be great for everyone to hear how God answers prayers and how important it is to build relationships.

ARE YOU ON THE EMERGENCY
CONTACT LIST? it me, or did 2025 fly by?

IS With busy schedules and events filling our calendar already this year, it is going to be another jam-packed year. From annual events to new events, opportunities to share the Gospel are abundant.

However, this year, the Lord is stirring up in me this question: Are you on the emergency contact list? Let me share where this comes from. Donnie and I have been working with a Motocross Association here in Nebraska for about 10 years, and we have seen many changes since we started. We have built relationships with many of the track owners, the association ' s leadership, racers, and their families. We love to stay the night at the track alongside the riders and their families. Over the last couple of years, they have
really changed it up by having games and other activities after the races, as a moto family. This has been awesome to see develop, and of course, we join in the fun when we can. We let them know we are available to help wherever they need us, and we do our best to support the races and the racers.
Well, this year on July 13th we received a text from the President of the Association;β€œ Can you guys be praying for,-----------, he crashed very hard today in K _____, they had to do multiple rounds of CPR on him, he wasn’ t breathing on his own when they put him in the ambulance, then they met the LifeFlight helicopter and took him to S _______, thank you, appreciate you guys more than you can imagine.”
Immediately after reading this, we prayed, and I sent the prayer back to the President via voice message for healing, complete restoration, and a miracle. I also called my prayer warriors to agree with us.
This young man, who was injured, was just 13 years old. The first scans came back that this young man had a complete C1 break, meaning he could not breathe on his own, and he was paralyzed. We continued to stand and refused to back down in our prayers for restoration.( I have also since found out that there
were other CMA’ ers, praying the same prayer.) The young man was on a ventilator to help him breathe, and he was taken to the Children’ s Hospital in Denver.
Donnie and I continued attending races, and when we prayed, we thanked God that this young man would walk again and be restored. The racers in attendance heard these prayers.
We listened and waited for news. It wasn’ t long before we heard that this young man had feeling in his toes; then he began moving them. Then the doctors changed their diagnoses; he had a partial C1 break. This young man kept improving, defying what the doctors then thought was possible.
Four months after his accident, this young man walked into the rewards banquet on his own with a little help from a walker for stabilization. He still had the trach; however, he was breathing on his own, and he was free from all devices and tubes! Praise the Lord! He was able to thank the three people who had given him CPR for 20 minutes on the track the day of the accident.
Throughout the year, the Moto family held all kinds of fundraisers and remembered him with shirts, bracelets, stickers, helmets, and so much more. One of the big things was that a family donated a brand-new motorcycle, and they
