50TH ANNIVERSARY |

ON December 18 , 2004 , I attended my first CMA Word Warriors meeting in Evansville , Indiana . At the meeting , they talked about delivering gifts to families with family members in prison . I could not go with them after the meeting but seeing that they were more than just a ride group made an impact . A few days later , my dad was diagnosed with cancer and needed surgery on the first week of January . Surgery didn ’ t go well , and my dad ended up on a ventilator . While he was in the ICU , several local chapter members came up to pray for my dad . Now think about that . I only attended one meeting . They really didn ’ t know me or my dad , but they felt it important to go and pray . That had a significant impact on me , and by the end of March 2005 , Jane and I became members of CMA .

Jane and I are the type of people who , once we decide to belong to something , we are all in . In November 2005 , I was elected Road Captain , and Jane was elected Secretary . In 2006 , I was elected Vice President ; the following year , in 2007 , I was elected President . I held that position until October 2010 . In 2008 , Jane and I attended our first National Rally in Hatfield , Arkansas . We heard several times you will not come home the same once you experience the presence of the Holy Spirit .
In 2011 , we became Area Reps , and in September 2012 , we became Indiana State Coordinators . In April 2014 , we were approached and asked to pray about becoming National Evangelists . On October 1 , 2015 , Jane and I came on staff as National Evangelists . We have
|
served as Evangelists over the past nine years . What is exciting is that we started when CMA was celebrating its 40th anniversary , and we will complete our 10th year when we celebrate our 50th at the Colors Rally .
Two of the most enjoyable parts of being a part of CMA have been sharing Jesus with bikers and spending time with the members of CMA . I can ’ t imagine our life without CMA . We have been blessed to be a small part of what God is doing in CMA . CMA
