Shortly ater 1 pm, 20 JAIS enforcement oicers showed up at the BSM
oices, demanding entry and banging
on the glass doors, and trying to force
entry.
Wong called Lee who advised them to
keep the doors closed until his arrival.
What followed was unprecedented.

and arrested Lee and Wong. During
the incident, Lee contacted friends
to alert the press, and video-taped the
actions of the JAIS oicers.

have jurisdiction over Muslims. But
when I saw this bunch of thugs trying to force their way in,

and surprised that something like this could happen in Malaysia,” Lee said.
