Describe the perfect, most comfortable shoes for the
modern woman-on-the-go.
Classic black flats. Heels are really not my thing, so I scoured
stores forever until I found a pair of comfy, simple black flats.
I love them to death because they can be paired with absolutely
any outfit. I literally wear them almost every day.
Do you have a favorite place to shop?
I’ll admit it: I shop for clothes almost exclusively at H&M
now. I don’t know why, but I just love the pieces they put out.
They’re my style and in my budget, so I like to keep it simple
and just get everything there!
How do you keep your skin looking and feeling its best
during the fall?
I’ve been naughty with my beauty blogging so far this month,
and I’ve let my normal skin care routine go out the door. However, once I have time to switch out my usual products, I’ll be
adding in hydrating face masks, cranberry toner pads, and a
light but intensely hydrating moisturizer to cope with the colder weather.
What’s one thing that you think is the biggest falltrend,
or is soon-to-be?
Everyone says knitwear is going to be a big trend. Sweaters
for fall? Groundbreaking. But I think the 70’s bohemian chic
style is going to be a big trend. It was a big hit on the F/W 2014
runways, with Michael Kors doing my favorite take on it. I love
the earthy palette and of course, big brown boots!

FALL IN
LOVE
N
ow that it’s officially fall, most of America
has been split into two separate categories:
those who are in denial that summer is actually over, and those who are eagerly waiting
to frolic once again in autumn’s leaves. For
those who need a bit more convincing to embrace the changing of seasons, allow me to direct your attention to H&M’s
new Studio Fall/Winter 2014 collection.
Appropriately released on September 4, 2014,
a.k.a. Day 1 of New York Fashion Week, the new fall/winter collection “revolves around strong contrasts” and is all
about “capturing a playful and charming bohemian style.”
The brand encourages its customers to mix and match each
piece for the ultimate chic look. Pair glittery, sequined
dresses with biker jackets and combat boots, or go crazy
with warm knits, transparent layers, and geometric leggings.
Visit clichemag.com for some of our favorite
pieces, or if you and your wallet can’t wait, head on over to
hm.com to scoop these up in time for cooler weather.
