736 N. Buffalo St. Built in 1896, this beautifully preserved Victorian home is a showcase of late-19th century architecture, featuring distinctive fish-scale shingles, ornate fretwork, Prairie-style windows, intricate gables and a spacious wraparound porch.
The home was built by Joseph T. Ramsey as a wedding gift for his daughter, Pearl, upon her marriage to James Williamson. It remained in the Williamson family for 78 years, becoming a treasured part of Cleburne’ s history. A unique hexagon-shaped Victorian building tucked behind the home was added by a later owner and originally served as an artist’ s studio.
The current owners purchased the home in 2014 and embarked on an extensive restoration, living in just one room while bringing the historic residence back to life over six months.
Today, the home is filled with carefully selected period antiques, fascinating collections and even a hidden secret room, making it one of Cleburne’ s most captivating historic homes.

Built in 1928, this charming 2,900-square-foot Craftsman home was originally owned by Roy and Alverna Harding. In 1965, Lester and Katherine Elmore purchased the home for just $ 3,800, beginning another chapter in its rich history.
The current owner acquired the property in 2023 and has lovingly restored the home while preserving the timeless character and architectural details that define the Craftsman style. A longtime member of Save Old Cleburne, she has carefully blended historic preservation with thoughtful updates, ensuring this treasured home will continue to be enjoyed for generations to come.
