Success for Qualified
Whiteline Apprentices

Manager), James Gow, Joshua Mounce,
Stephen Lloyd MP, Martyn Coxhead and
Ken Gray (Director of IT & Production).
Innovative southern fabricator Whiteline
recently marked an important event in the
company’s continuing expansion with the
successful qualification of its first three
manufacturing apprentices. Eastbourne
MP, Stephen Lloyd, a supporter of this
initiative from its inception, presented the
certificates.
Over the previous year the three candidates
had developed their skills and were ultimately
assessed across 14 NVQ modules at level 2.
The course was specifically tailored to glass
related operations and fabrication in an
‘from strength to strenght’
effective production facility, covering every
facet of quality manufacturing practice.
It was a real pleasure to revisit Whiteline
to celebrate the success of their Apprentice
Scheme. Three young people who I met this
time last year as apprentices now have a full
time job with the company. This scheme
works both for apprentices and the business,
a great local company going from strength to
strength.”
