WINDOW AND HARDWARE PARTNERSHIP
MARKS QUARTER CENTURY MILESTONE
» » THE CLIMATEC GROUP AND
leading hardware distributor VBH is this year
celebrating 25 years of successful partnership.
Climatec started manufacturing PVC-U
windows at a small factory unit in Southend-
on-Sea in 1993, and quickly established itself
in 1993 within the industry. In 2012 the
company launched Alu-tec, an exclusive range
of aluminium windows and doors. Climatec
now fabricates over 1,400 frames a week for
trade customers throughout England, from 11
factory units spanning 50,000sq ft. Climatec
relies on VBH for a range of high performance
hardware solutions for both PVC-U and
aluminium product lines.
Steve Barker, Director at Climatec, says:
“It makes sense for us to buy most of our
hardware from one source and VBH is a true
one-stop-shop. Our contact at VBH, Jan
Holland gives outstanding service. Face-to-
face meetings are an important part of the
relationship, building loyalty and efficiency
between Climatec and VBH; we know we
can rely on their support. And twice weekly
deliveries ensure we always have the correct
products and quantity of stock to fabricate our
windows and doors to the high quality our
customers expect from us.”
