A GREAT DEAL OF DISCUSSION and consideration has been undertaken on the governance and structure of the Glass and Glazing Federation ( GGF ) and its Group of subsidiary companies . The GGF Board has decided on the following structure .
• The GGF Trade Federation will operate as a single entity , continuing to provide excellent service to its Members . It will be led by Nigel Rees as the Chief Executive , with a Board of Directors constituted from the GGF Membership .
• The Subsidiaries will be encompassed within a new Group company led by a Group Chief Executive and Group Board made up from within the GGF , supported by Non-Executive Directors .
• The new Group Company will be a fully owned subsidiary of the Trade Federation with its new Group Chief Executive directly accountable to the GGF Board .

Chairman of The Window Company ( Contracts ) Ltd .
David commented : “ Being awarded The Glass Charter at Silver Level 2 was a real achievement for all the Window Company ( Contracts ) staff . It followed a rigorous inspection process , which is just how it should be . One of the good things about the process is it doesn ’ t matter what level you achieve first time around because the guidance and information is there to help you achieve a higher level . The highest award is the Gold level and at the Window Company ( Contracts ) we are all working to achieve this because we know we can and Health and Safety matters !”
Phil Pinnington concluded : “ The quality of evidence provided by The Window Company supports our belief that our Members are Health and Safety conscious and are actively looking to improve their health and safety standards .”
