Success for Construction Giant
»»Purplex has helped one of
Europe’s largest manufacturers of aluminium
profile systems, Hueck, become the preferred
supplier of Britain’s giant housebuilding
company, the Berkeley Group.
In a record three days turnaround, Purplex
delivered a first class procurement document
showcasing the manufacturer’s complex range
of products and services that effectively gained
them a profitable collaboration with the UK
housing heavyweight.
Leon Friend, Hueck UK project
development director, said: “Purplex delivered
a powerful document that promotes our
product portfolio, customer support and range
of services in a clear and effective way, while
keeping in line with our company’s ethos, and
have done so in a very short time span.”
Following the success of this particular
project, Hueck UK has also signed up to
the agency’s industry specific PR services,
to increase the company profile and
market awareness for its product portfolio
in the UK.

TV Star
HL Plastics, Liniar’s trading company, was
selected by BBC News to take part in
the ‘headline story of the day’ in a report
about an increase in the UK’s quarterly
Gross Domestic Product results and
the success driven by manufacturing
firms, now the recession is over.

illustrate the news story, which
featured in the lunchtime, 6
o’clock and 10 o’clock news slots,
along with a short interview with
CEO Roger Hartshorn.

highlight the upturn in the UK’s
GDP,” said Roger, “manufacturing
is the lifeblood of this country
and we’re proud to be helping to
lead the way with the economic
recovery.”
The company also saw, Liniar
windows featured heavily in the
BBC 2 programme ‘The House
That £100k Built’ on August 4.
The show followed South
Lincolnshire couple Andrew and
Jo’ann Thompson’s attempts
to not only build a house from
scratch for less than £100k, but

for the house to never generate
a heating or electricity bill. The
couple chose Liniar’s energy
efficient triple glazed windows to
help with the ambitious project.
Still to be aired is a
Liniar fabricator’s charitable
involvement with BBC 1 show
‘DIY SOS – The Big Build’. Where
Glazedale’s installation team
spent five days on site fitting
all of the windows and doors
and build an extension to the
home of a family with a severely
disabled child.
Liniar is no stranger to the
TV cameras, HL Plastics’ facilities
played host to Prime Minister
David Cameron in May 2014,
which was filmed by various
national and regional news
stations.
