HIGH PROFILE NEW MEMBERSHIP
The GGF is delighted to announce that Deceuninck has
been welcomed in full Membership of the Federation.

Director, Deceuninck received the
Membership Certificate from Nigel Rees,
GGF Group Chief Executive at Members
Day on 1st September 2015 at Glaziers Hall,
London.
On joining the Federation, Roy said: “We
are pleased to join the GGF. Not just for the
many Member benefits but also to contribute
our sector expertise at the Federation’s
specialist group meetings.”
They will be a good asset to the GGF on
the technical side with expert input to the
GGF Window and Door Group with their
considerable knowledge and core technologies
of PVCu extrusion and patented Twinson
material. Deceuninck create innovative building
solutions for windows and doors, outdoor
living, roofline and cladding, and interiors
Brian Smith, GGF Director of Home
Improvement and Membership added: “It
was particularly pleasing to see Roy presented
with Deceuninck’s membership certificate on
Members Day as a new Member. He took
advantage of attending our and promptly
applied for membership soon afterwards. It’s
great to have Deceuninck on board to boost
the GGF’s increasing membership.”
Hard Work Pays Off
»»The GGF was delighted to
hear of the Fire Resistant Glazing Group’s
Installer Training Course nomination as a finalist
in the G15 Awards in the category for “Training
and Development Initiative of the Year”.
On hearing the news Giles Willson, GGF
Managing Director commented: “This is very
positive for all connected with the GGF and
in particular those who have developed the
course to this level over many years of hard
work. It makes the G15 awards even more
special this year for the GGF.”
Giles Willson added: “Almost two years ago
the GGF Group formed GGF Training Ltd,
to fill the huge training gaps in our industry.
It is a great achievement for all involved, to
be finalists in this category in such a short
time. The Fire Resistant Glazing Installer
Training Initiative also raises the standing of
the sector by demonstrating a responsible
and quality-conscious commitment to fire
safety in buildings. We are pleased the work
has been recognised in the G15 Awards but
most importantly, we are delighted the training
is currently available to help the industry,
to raise standards and the awareness of the
importance of fire resistant glazing and its
correct installation.”

Investing in Continuous Development
»»As part of its commitment to
giving its members the very best service
and products, the Consumer Protection
Association (CPA) has invested to upskill one
of its senior team.
Tim White, who is National Sales
Manager at the CPA, recently gained two
Level 5 diplomas – one in Management
and one in Principals of Management and
Leadership.
Tim took the two QCF accredited
courses over a two year period as part of
the organisation’s continuous professional
development programme – completing the
modules in his spare time.
