FIT SHOW 2016 BLOWN AWAY AT FIT Vehicle tracking company Ram Tracking took the stage at the FIT Show for the first time this year, and was blown away with the outstanding interest it had, clocking up over 250 visitors to its stand on day one of the show. »»The business uses the latest technology to give van and fleet owners live vehicle positions, fleet information email alerts, accurate financial reports and quick snapshot visual graphs enabling greater control over a mobile workforce; eliminating inaccurate overtime and mileage claims, enhancing productivity and slashing fuel bills. Marketing manager Sandy Noble said: “We came to The FIT Show because we wanted to talk to businesses that have a fleet of vans in the sector of window installation and fitting. This is a key audience for us and we believe that the system can offer them greater visibility over their fleet to make better strategic decisions.” Sandy said it could cost as little as £3 per van to install a small tracking device which could not be tampered with in a vehicle, “A business can then watch where its vehicles are, what time the ignition is turned on, if they are speeding or idling, or if they go to any locations th ey weren’t meant to go to.
