PROUD SPONSOR OF DOORS & WINDOWS
DOORS&WINDOWS
Wine and roses for
West Yorkshire firm
Whiterose Windows Limited is based in West Yorkshire
and operates from a large old mill complex in Queensbury
and a factory unit in Brighouse. It supplies mainly to
the trade and fabricates a complete range of bespoke
products including bi-folding doors, sliding patios, residential
and commercial doors, using Smarts Architectural
Aluminium or energy rated, quality Liniar PVCu profile.
» » THE COMPANY
expanded its range to include
aluminium around five years
ago and went through the same
process as it did when originally
choosing the Liniar PVCu system
to manufacture. It took time to
research the system and after
consulting with its customers
found that the Smarts system
came out on top for being an
industry recognised, quality,
affordable system.
Recent projects have included
a perfumery in Northampton, a
vintner’s and a large education
centre in Luton, which was
supplied and installed for a
company in Leighton Buzzard
called Accent Office Interiors,
who are a large, well-established
workspace design and build
organization.
‘As a business,
we operate to
economies of scale
rather than relying
on big margins’
A new addition to Whiterose’s
manufacturing range is Liniar’s
new creation, Alumina, which will
become available over the next
few months. Alumina is a true
aluminium bi-folding door system,
beautifully sculptured and foiled
to match perfectly with the full
Liniar product suite. Alumina can
achieve u-values as low as 1.2W//
m²K and with its sleek lines and
greater efficiency it offers the
best of both worlds.
This year, after increasing the
factory space in Queensbury,
the company is aiming to vastly
improve its current lead times
on its full aluminium range, whilst
remaining competitive with its
transparent pricing. Tony Smith
owner and director of Whiterose
Windows commented: “Our lead
time for PVCu especially Modlok
bi-folding doors has always been
very quick within the market
place, so hopefully, by increasing
our facilities and employing more
staff, we will significantly improve
our current lead time of three to
four weeks on standard coloured
aluminium doors in 2017.”
He added: “As a business,
we operate to economies of
scale rather than relying on big
margins. This allows us to offer
our products at very competitive
prices. For example, we have
fixed prices for our bi-fold sets,
regardless of configuration.”
Whiterose Windows originally
began by selling to local
tradesmen and has maintained
its personal and direct approach
to customer service. Should any
issue arise, it tries its best to
make sure it is resolved quickly
and efficiently. As the company
has grown, the team has made
a real effort to maintain this
local trade supplier approach,
just on a much bigger scale and
with the recent addition of extra
administration staff, hopefully
this will lead to even greater
efficiency in the future.
The company offers its own
nationwide delivery service,
ensuring that its goods arrive in
perfect condition, travelling as far
down the country as Devon and
as far up as Scotland.

With the revamp of
the company website due
imminently, the website’s more
contemporary feel should
highlight the modern products
Whiterose manufactures. A
gallery of installation pictures will
be available, so that customers
can get a good idea of what the
products on offer look like in
situ.
