NEW WEBSITE AND ONLINE
LEAD GENERATION
»»SINCE 1999, OAKLEY GREEN
Conservatories has been specialising in
orangeries, conservatories and high end home
improvements for customers across the South.
Wanting to enhance its sales and online
presence, Oakley called upon Purplex, the full
service marketing agency that specialises in the
glazing industry.
Paul Nolan, one of the Co-Directors at
Oakley, described the decision process, “We
wanted to choose a marketing agency with
expertise in the home improvement industry
and Purplex stood out.” Andrew Gifford,
fellow Director, went on to say, “We were
impressed with their previous work and
trusted them to deliver a website we would be
proud to show our customers. They haven’t
disappointed. We are delighted with the
outcome and are already seeing positive results
with increased website traffic and leads.”
Adi Day, Head of Digital at Purplex,
commented, “By designing and creating
Oakley’s stylish and fully responsive new
website, its online presence and brand is
greatly enhanced. Combined with an online
marketing lead generation scheme that has
now be rolled out, Oakley is benefiting from
continuous fresh content, an enhanced brand
and an effective marketing strategy pulling in
new business.”

Houses ha ve now opted in to
FENSA Window & Doorset
Energy Ratings, with many
doing so at the FIT Show
2016. There was a positive
response from all sectors of the
replacement glazing sector.
“This is an excellent result
for the new FENSA window
& doorset energy ratings,”
commented BFRC director,
Toby Blamey. “We believed
that this scheme would prove
popular but we underestimated
the levels of interest, not just from installers
but from the whole industry.”
FENSA Window & Doorset Energy Ratings
are free for FENSA certified installers (but
purely optional). However, installers need to
be supplied by registered fabricators, as the
product installed will carry a Simplified Energy
Licence from the fabricator (carrying the
FENSA name).

39% of installers that
completed a survey on FENSA
window & doorset energy
ratings (WERs/DSERs)
stated that they would like to
have their current fabricator
sign up for FENSA WERs/
DSERs. BFRC is working
with installers to sign up
fabricators.
These new window and
doorset energy ratings,
operated and independently
verified by BFRC, are exactly
the same as the existing BFRC
scheme, the only difference being new labels
branded FENSA with their own marketing
support.
To Opt In, existing BFRC Authorised
Retailers should email [email protected],
FENSA certified installers should email the
Operations Team on EnergyRatings@fensa.

New
Freefoam
Catalogue
»»FREEFOAM HAS LAUNCHED A
new product catalogue featuring the complete
range of Freefoam products including PVCu
and PVC-UE fascia, soffit, rainwater systems,
exterior cladding, interior panelling and
decking.
With over 2,000 product items, a clear
concise catalogue is essential for Freefoam
stockists to promote the range and its
A5 compact format is ideal for building
professionals, roofline fitters and roofers
to keep a copy handy with all the product
information they need.
The catalogue features a more
contemporary design with clear lifestyle
imagery and some new features and is
divided into product categories with specific
colour coding to make finding ranges quick
and easy. All fascia styles, square leg, square
edge, bullnose and ogee have been grouped
together illustrating the range of boards in
each style. All pages also include a quick
reminder of other product ranges and online
services.
Freefoam has long been recognised as
the colour specialist both for roofline and
PVCu cladding. A major feature of the new
catalogue is all colours are listed for each
product allowing users to clearly see the
extensive range of options. A handy fold out
sheet also shows high resolution images of
each colour allowing colour matching to other
products.
Whilst print formats are still widely used by
the building trade more users are turning to
online formats. Freefoam has addressed this by
including the new trade catalogue on its App
and all product brochures can be downloaded
from www.freefoam.com.
