CENTRE OF ATTENTION FOR PVCU SKINS
At the FIT Show, Röchling Engineering Plastics once again demonstrated that it is the market leader in the domain of thermoformable PVCu skins for manufacturing house door panels.

The centre of attention was the decorative wooden panels, wood grains Trovidur ® Astrawood ®-Cool and the white PVCu skins covering layers Trovidur ® ESV-TRX that have been successful on the market for many years. Glass fibre reinforced profiles made of Durostone ® for windows and doors were also on display.
IMPORTANCE OF COLOUR CONFORMITY
When it comes to decorative wooden panels wood grains, colour conformity with the profile that is used is of great importance. A high degree of weathering stability also plays an important role. We therefore work closely with Renolit, the leading manufacturer of decorative and wooden foils for profiles and deep drawing thermoforming applications.
The Fit Show provided the opportunity to present the latest colour match,“ Astrawood ® Cool Piedmont A”( Rosewood), which demonstrates perfect colour conformity with the window profile film of the same name. In the market, we say Rosewood, however in most cases we see the Renolit Decor Black Cherry and Piedmont A, which represents the originals of the rosewood types.
Our retail distribution partner, Thermovac Plastics Ltd. in Dewsbury, has more than twenty other decors in Euro Size and Standard in stock in addition to Piedmont A. Immediate and continuous availability is thus assured.
The correct colour match with the profile is also enormously important for white panels. Röchling therefore has more than 70 different shades of white in the product range that can be supplemented with further shades as needed. We are capable of matching any colour and to reproduce it continuously with the use of a fully automated mixing facility!
PRIORITISING QUALITY Quality is one of the top priorities at Röchling, and for this reason every single panel is visually checked during assure for perfect stability in any weather.
Besides the thermoplastic panels, Röchling also offers Durostone ® GRP profiles that can be manufactured according to a client’ s drawing. Areas of application are, for example, threshold profiles, profiles for windows and door frames as well as reinforcement for PVCu window profiles. The GRP profiles have better thermal insulation than metal profiles with an equally low weight.
