Four members of the publishing company have chosen to grow their facial hair in support of ‘Movember’, a promotional campaign designed to raise the awareness of health problems amongst men. Andy Davis, Tom Cartledge, Steve Sidebottom and Ian Wilkinson all ‘downed’ their shavers to help raise money and grow a moustache through November. Andy Davis, Sales Account Manager, Clearview commented: “To be fair, I was persuaded by my fiancé to take part in the event. I wasn’t sure if at 40, I was capable of growing a moustache, but I decided to show my support to a family member, who suffered from Prostate cancer.” The Movember Foundation has been set up to hi-light awareness of men’s illnesses and is supported by some large corporate branded companies. The Foundation raised £20.4 million in 2013. The development of the magazines during 2014 is a reflection of the passion shared by co-owners; Steve Sidebottom, Rob Exley, Ian Wilkinson and staff. Under their guidance, the organisation has seen a prosperous year, investing in larger premises in Barnsley to cater for the growth in staff and developing IT systems to support the growing customer database, helping to offer customers an efficient experience when dealing with Clearview. We have more than doubled both our sales revenue and the amount of staff we now employee.
