Proud to be part of the Industry
As 2014 draws to a close, we have invite Directors
from the glazing industry to comment in Clearview
about their thoughts and reflections of this year’s
trading and their predictions for next year. The
comments are both encouraging and profound
with many of the management heads giving similar
messages for 2014; which indicates a good year in terms
of sales performance and development of the industry.
»»The G14 awards were held at
the Hilton, Park Lane hotel, London and I
had the pleasure of attending and sharing
a table with lock specialists, Era, who won
one of the prestigious awards and the title of
‘Component Supplier of the Year’.

message of congratulations goes to Gary
Morton. A fellow Black County lad, who was
awarded well-deserved recognition for his
efforts raising monies for the charity he setup;
GM Fundraising and took home the Derek
Bonnard of Excellence Award 2014. Well
Done Gary!
With the excitement over, it’s back to
reality and in this month’s issue Clearview has
been investigating the world of using Hybird
material to fabricate and the benefits now
emerging for fabricators and installers. This
special feature draws in editorial from some
of the industry expert manufacturers and
fabricators; Senior Aluminium Systems, Totalli
Timber Systems and Synseal Systems and the
launch of its new WarmCore Folding Door
System.
We also include a health check article
for consideration in 2015, and draw your
attention to the feature which highlights
workplace illnesses and how they can be
