Over 140 presentations highlight the broad and extensive program of the world´s leading glass Conference that summarises the state-of-the-art of the glass industry in this millennium. The organizers have screened all the proposed addresses and found them to be of an exceptionally high quality. In anticipation of the soon-to-be-published GPD Final Program, the organisers honour the principles of transparency and have already made all Conference presentation abstracts and speaker profiles available at www.gpd.fi. Conference excitement is added by the new format, innovative concepts and venue that now mark this traditional event. The format is designed to provide full visibility overlooking six parallel open conference sessions June 29- 30, 2017 in the same facility rather than in separate and closed conference rooms. Modern audio-technology serves participants who have unparalleled opportunity to move between conference sessions, network and design their own priority participation.
