4. Door Industry Journal
The newest member of the family.
Acquired from Derek Hibbard in 2025 after 20 years of successful growth, Door Industry Journal brought another established specialist title into the group, extending our coverage across the wider door industry.
With a new website( www. doorindustryjournal. co. uk), daily news, weekly newsletter and four print issues a year, the title is building on its established foundations. Its first Autumn issue marks another step forward, completing its seasonal publishing cycle.
“ Bringing an established title into the group is about respecting what has already been built while finding new ways to develop it. Door Industry Journal has a strong heritage, and we’ re excited about the opportunities ahead for both its print and digital presence,” says Steve.
5. Supplements
Going deeper, together.
Our supplements give industry partners the opportunity to explore products, projects and specialist subjects in greater depth. Working collaboratively with businesses including Victorian Sliders, Glazpartners and SBD, we develop tailored editorial and campaigns that bring expertise to the forefront and give readers a closer look at the topics that matter to them.
It is about more than visibility; it is about creating relevant content that connects businesses with their audiences.
Chris Fearon, Sales Manager explains:“ The best campaigns start with understanding a customer’ s business, not simply selling them space. By working closely with our partners, we can develop ideas and content that tell their story, showcase their expertise and give readers something genuinely useful.”
6. The Charity Golf Day
Good business. Great cause.
Now in its fifth year, the annual Clearview & Pro Installer Charity Golf Day has become a popular fixture in the glazing industry’ s calendar. Bringing together 18 teams at Hickleton Golf Club, the latest event combined friendly competition and networking with fundraising for Hope House Children’ s Hospices.
With the five-year fundraising total approaching £ 35,000, the day is about more than golf— it’ s a chance for the industry to come together and make a real difference.
“ It’ s fantastic to see the industry come together year after year, not just to enjoy a great day out, but to support such a worthwhile cause. Reaching almost £ 35,000 over five years is something everyone involved can be proud of,” says Rob.
7. Events & Openex
From Lockex to the next chapter.
Our events take the conversation beyond the page. Lockex brought the locksmith and security sectors together in 2016 and 2018, creating opportunities to discover products, exchange expertise and build relationships face to face.
Now, Openex represents the next step in the group’ s evolution. Coming in 2028, the new trade show will create another opportunity to bring businesses, products and professionals together.
Steve explains:“ There’ s a reason we’ ve called it Openex. Every one of our magazines covers openings in one way or another: windows, doors, locks and the wider world of access and security. Openex brings those industries together under one roof, opening up a whole new chapter for the group. We’ re really excited about what’ s to come.”
Looking ahead
The 300th issue is a moment to look back, but the focus remains firmly on what comes next. With established print titles, growing digital platforms, specialist partnerships and new opportunities to bring the industry together, the group continues to evolve alongside the sectors it serves.
The formats may change, but the purpose remains the same: to inform, connect and create opportunities for the trade.
We’ re celebrating our very special birthday with a very special offer...
