GGF APPOINTS NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR AND HEAD OF OPERATIONS

» THE GLASS & GLAZING Federation ( GGF ) is pleased to announce two senior promotions , with Ben Wallace stepping up as GGF Managing Director from his previous role as Head of Membership , and Lauren Mawford taking on a newly created position of GGF Head of Operations after two years as Group Health , Safety and Environment ( HSE ) Manager .
Ben has been present at GGF meetings since 2012 and has held roles within the Group ’ s

Technical Department in addition to his time served as Head of Membership . This vast experience accrued at the heart of the Federation gives him an |
unrivalled perspective and a unique ability to understand the needs of the GGF community . Lauren , who joined the
GGF in July 2022 has also
|
made a significant contribution to the Federation as Group HSE Manager . This has included gaining ISO 14001 Accreditation , creating a new , internal Health & Safety management system and helping to guide Members with their own H & S programmes . She was also instrumental in developing the GGF ’ s ‘ Managing Safely in the Glass and Glazing Industry ’ Health & Safety Course .

NEW FACE TO BOOST SCOTTISH PRESENCE
» JORDAN DAVIDSON has joined Glazerite in the newly created role of Area Sales Manager , Scotland , to underpin the service the fabricator offers existing customers based there . It follows the growth of Glazerite ’ s product portfolio , which now includes the Deceuninck profile system alongside its VEKA and Residence Collection offering , and the recent opening of its North Division in Barnsley , South Yorkshire .
Scotland-based Jordan has spent nearly a decade in the fenestration industry and will help Glazerite strengthen its positioning and the support it offers its installers situated north of the border . He says : “ As a fabricator , Glazerite offers installers a huge range of products and solutions designed to deliver firstclass installations and grow their business . I am looking forward to meeting our existing customers and welcoming new ones in the near future .”

New Commercial Director
» SPECIALIST MARKETING data supplier Insight Data is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Commercial Director .
Alex Tremlett , 30 , has been with the company for ten years , starting his career with the firm as a telephone researcher . Since then , he has progressed up the career ladder , taking on roles including Research Manager and Operations Manager .
As Commercial Director , Alex ’ s role will include managing the research team , overseeing the software development department and involvement in the strategic planning of sales , marketing and email marketing . Alex will also oversee the customer support department .
He said : “ I know the business from top to bottom so I ’ m hoping to pass my experience and knowledge over to the rest of the team to help them develop and progress within the business .”
Alex ’ s promotion comes as Insight Data prepares to launch a raft of new developments , including the highly anticipated version of Salestracker 4 , the fully integrated sales and marketing platform designed exclusively for the building and fenestration industry . Also in development are new databases and improvements to the company ’ s email marketing , telesales and market research offerings .
