ARC Design upgrade to help boost installer sales

» AUGMENTED REALITY CONSERVATORY Design , the unique visualisation tool that helps installers sell more conservatories , has been upgraded to include brand new features that will help users benefit further . Sitting within an installer ’ s website , ARC Design helps homeowners design and fully customise their own conservatory within minutes , before submitting the design to the installer to request a quote .
With the click of a button , the homeowner can then view their design in 3D augmented reality , allowing them to view the conservatory in situ on their house , helping them make their final decision .
ARC Design now features a realistic looking sky , as well as a function to add furniture to conservatory designs , giving customers an even better feel for their investment .
ARC COO and Co-founder Andy Clear comments : “ Augmented reality has really taken off within the glazing industry , with long standing software developers following our lead . With ARC Design , we ’ ve created something that is proving a huge benefit to our customers across the
country , and seems to be driving technological innovation forward .
“ Installers that have ARC Design installed on their website have reported increased sales , increased lead generation , and a real boost to their brand reputation , and a lot of that is down to the realistic aspects of the software .
“ We ’ ve always strived to make the software as accurate as possible , and by adding a realistic sky and furniture options to the mix , we ’ re helping homeowners get a very good idea of what their conservatory will look like in real life . This in turn will help conservatory installers secure new customers with their offerings , and ultimately boost their business .
“ As we move into an increasingly digitised world , ARC Design provides an opportunity for installers to position themselves as the best choice for a homeowner , and we want to enhance this by constantly improving the software to engage as many potential customers as possible .”

Selling Doors Through Movies

» WHEN A PICTURE IS worth a thousand words , how do you place value on a video ? Or even a whole series of them ? To better convey the fantastic features and benefits of their product ranges , Ireland based manufacturer Apeer have released a collection of six clips to make the installer ’ s job of selling , easier .
Like miniature TED talks , each of the videos concisely describes the pros of stylish Apeer and Silka products in under three minutes , with topics including security , glass , energy efficiency and colour options . Close up visuals of police approved integrated locking systems , glass manufacture and money saving A ++ rated doors mean that homeowners looking to upgrade have a clear idea of what their new purchase will offer .
Managing Director Asa McGillian is excited to see how the videos are received by installers : “ The videos are informative for installers but can also be used by them as a tool to effectively sell or explain Apeer and Silka to their homeowner customers . For those customers who like detail , we made sure that the scripts of the videos answered questions that installers are most frequently asked , while still highlighting the aesthetic and functional benefits .”
Of all six , the Silka Doors video - while less technical than the rest - is a must see . It shows how the products ooze effortless , contemporary design , and reminds customers that if a choice of 27 colours isn ’ t quite enough , Apeer will take any sample colour and match it .
Asa continued : “ For easy access , the videos will be available on Apeer ’ s website . We expect that over time , each clip will form a fundamental part of any sale ; homeowners all shop differently and some will really like the ‘ movie ’ effect to better understand what they ’ re getting . If we can reach more people by letting these visuals do the talking , we ’ re happy to support our installers by rolling them out .”
