Installation innovations
As well as constantly evolving its products , Reynaers also works to improve the experience of fabricators , architects , and contractors by making installation easier and adding value to products wherever possible .
Michel Van Put , Chief Product Officer at Reynears , set out how the company intends to build upon its existing software systems to further support clients by making real-time , cloud-based quotes available to support architects or sales representatives working in the field .
To make information more readily available to fabricators , Reynaers also plans to digitise its catalogue to feature comprehensive links to all elements of its products .

Making smart choices
Innovation for Reynaers means meeting the future demands of customers through developments such as smart home designs . Keyless entry

solutions , keypads , automated locks , and motorised sliding systems are already available for some systems proving added value .
Willem Naudts , Team Leader in Building Automation , at Reynaers explained that future innovations will continue to develop smart home functionality , enabling great wireless control and security .
Upgrades will focus on providing cost efficient solutions and cutting installation time by offering simplified wiring solutions , including greater use of magnetic contacts .
He said : “ It is about safety and security – much more than just a door . Magnetic conductors are a blessing for fabricators and alarm system vendors . Ultimately this is cost saving as it makes maintenance cheaper .
“ A motorised lock can add value to a door - to use a mobile phone to unlock a door you need an electric lock . By electrifying the door , we can add keypads and scanners that will add value .”
Mr Naudts also highlighted work Reynaers had completed to create the Multi-meter and R-Force Max tools to aid

the work of fabricators and installers in a cost effective and efficient way .
Sustainability
Reynaers has taken a leading stance on sustainability and supporting the UK in reaching net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 – see Reynaers Act , its comprehensive sustainability report detailing Reynaers commitment to science-based targets . This topic of sustainability ran throughout the Innovation Day , including a dedicated session on the Roadmap to Net Zero 2050 led by Technical Services Director John McComb .
He explained the steps Reynaers is taking to cut energy emissions in the UK by designing doors , windows and curtain walls that meet and exceed energy requirements . As with the introduction of Part L this year , Reynaers will again reassure customers that they can meet the demands of the Future Homes Standard in 2025 .
Throughout the day an interactive question and answer system using smart phone technology , allowed delegates to give feedback on

products and key issues . These included the popularity of products , what features were most important , and readiness to make changes , such as to a digital-led operation .
Reynaers welcomed approximately 150 visitors to its headquarters for the Innovation Day events .
