Held over two days , commercial partners visited the Reynaers UK headquarters in the West Midlands on Wednesday , while trade and retail industry partners were hosted in mid-November . The events gave attendees an insight into several areas of development from Reynaers , including how it is embedding digitalisation across its operations in support of the whole value chain and to help customers streamline and improve efficiencies . There was also a session led by Reynaers ’ experts on the evolutions of some of the company ’ s most popular products and systems in line with market and customer demand . Both days had a focus on the company ’ s innovative and ambitious approach to sustainability , which provided an overview of the approach Reynaers is taking to cut energy emissions ahead of net zero in 2050 .
All visitors were given the opportunity to tour the company ’ s newly opened warehouse extension . The 95,000 sq . ft expansion , completed earlier this year , was implemented to minimise the impact of supply issues affecting the market and customers , and will enable Reynaers to meet growing demand for its products and systems , providing a 46 per cent increase in capacity .

Customers were given an exclusive insight into some of the latest product developments introduced this year and included a look ahead to other product innovations on the horizon .

Discussing product evolution , Head of Trade and Retail Sales Terry Ledwith focused on the quality of the products Reynaers already offers , while looking at the innovations being introduced to support challenges facing the UK market .
The slim sightlines of aluminium and the minimalistic look of frames have fuelled an upwards trend in demand . Reflecting this , Reynaers SlimLine 68 ( SL 68 ) windows have been the fastest growing product of the last two years in the trade market .

SL 68 has been designed to meet the current thermal requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations , which has been achieved without the need to add a foam pack , putting it in a strong position as thermal efficiency demands increase along the pathway to 2050 .
He told the audience : “ These are exciting times for aluminium but there may be challenges with the economic forecast and tighter environmental requirements . If we look forward to 2025 , we ’ ve got some big challenges coming .”
