Kickstarting 2022 with new engineering appointment

Matthew King , who has over 10 years ’ experience in engineering management , will be responsible for further enhancing ERA ’ s design and manufacturing capabilities , to help drive sustained business

growth throughout the fenestration , distribution , specification and consumer markets .
Leading ERA ’ s team of engineering experts , Matthew will be implementing dedicated strategies in conjunction with ERA ’ s design and customer service teams to improve approaches to customer application , product development and engineering project management .
This will include the expansion of ERA ’ s bespoke manufacturing capabilities ,

as it continues to work in partnership with leading door and window manufacturers to develop hardware and security solutions that set the standard |
for quality and performance .
Matthew joins ERA from ZF Group , where he was Engineering Manager for Customer Products and Projects . Starting his career as an Engineer at BMW UK , Matthew was previously a Project Manager for Ford Motor Company in Germany and has extensive experience in product development , cost negotiation and project management .

» SASH WINDOW EXPERTS Victorian Sliders are laying the foundations for future growth with the appointment of a new Group Managing Director .
Steve Winslet brings over two decades of manufacturing expertise to the award-winning firm , and a track record of driving growth and improvement at some of construction ’ s leading brands .
Initially , Steve will work under the guidance of company founder and CEO Scot Starkey , before gradually assuming responsibility for the day-today running of the business .

Geared up for growth thanks to recent promotion
» AFTER 15 YEARS SPENT AS a Customer Services Advisor with Central , Mark McHale recently received the promotion to Warehouse and Logistics Manager at Central Window Systems . Mark ’ s promotion follows the appointments of a new Operations Director , Supply Chain Manager , SHEQ Manager , as well as new additions to the Customer Services Team .
The new role will see him supervising the smooth delivery of products , managing inventory , and maintaining relationships with carriers , suppliers and most importantly , customers .
Mark comments : “ Fifteen years in this role has more than prepared me for the additional responsibilities of a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor , and I very much look forward to taking the company further . “ I spent a lot of time handling customer enquiries , providing product support , building relationships with suppliers , and looking for opportunities to enhance overall customer experience .”
The past 20 months have been extremely busy for Central , and have seen the company expand its manufacturing facility to 52,000 feet and produce up to 1,600 PVCu products per week . The company also recently expanded its aluminium division to better serve domestic installers .
