Marking 35 years in business with new jobs and exciting expansion plans
One of Gloucestershire ’ s leading home improvement specialists is celebrating 35 years in business in style after it created 32 jobs to cope with a demand in its products and services .
The Joedan Group , which is part of the Conservatory Outlet retail network , has seen sales increase by 25 % since lockdown eased and has recently announced ambitious expansion plans to boost turnover to £ 25m by 2026 .
As part of this growth , the family-run business is gearing up for an exciting rebrand that will see all its Design Centres trading under the name of Joedan Windows & Doors , building on its proud history of designing , manufacturing , and selling bespoke aluminium windows and doors .
Winchester ( Hampshire ), Orpington ( Kent ) and Newport ( Isle of Wight ) will follow its HQ in Tewkesbury and its design centre in Bournemouth to adopt the name change .
The rebrand officially launches this month and will involve internal / external signage , as well as new marketing material , website , uniforms and livery over the coming months .
John Purcaro , Founder of the Joedan Group , explained : “ Due to a period of significant growth and a recent £ 2m investment in new manufacturing and technology , we believe now is the right time to bring all our Design Centres under the Joedan name .
“ The decision is the perfect opportunity to revitalise the Group and will not only strengthen our commitment to our staff , but will also reinforce our continued investment , unique product placement and dedicated service to our customers .”
Joedan , which employs 148 people across its five sites in the UK , is proud of having its own production facilities and fabricating its own aluminium windows and doors , maximising unique designs and achieving the highest quality and service standards .
The aluminium bespoke products are named ‘ Lusso ’ ( Italian for luxury ) and offer strength , durability and design flexibility and are perfect for all weather conditions as they don ’ t twist or buckle and are thermal , making them an increasingly popular choice .
The design and strength of the aluminium means that the frames can be thinner , allowing more glass to be used which lets in more natural light .
John went on to add : “ One of our key commitments is to reduce our ‘ carbon footprint ’ and our environmental philosophy and the operational choices we make reflect this . Our manufacturing , supply and installation operations follow strict recovery and recycling policies for example .”
Along with the five Design Centres and manufacturing facility , Joedan also owns Joedan Commercial Division , a market leader in commercial glazing refurbishment , providing local authorities , schools , architects and building contractors with a diverse choice of architectural glazing systems .
The firm ’ s experience and expertise has already transformed all kinds of buildings , including hospitals , schools , fire stations , retirement homes , offices and business premises .
John concluded : “ We look forward to bringing our dedicated staff along with us on what will be a fantastic ‘ rebranding ’ journey .
“ Our loyal customers can still expect to receive the highest standards of professionalism and service that makes the Joedan Group an industry leader .”
