Light at the end of the tunnel

» NO ONE COULD HAVE PREDICTED any of the social , economic or political variables that affected us all in 2020 . We went into lockdown in March last year which had its own pressures and then later in the year we were faced with accelerated consumer demand and material shortages .
Nor can anyone here forget that we won Composite Door Manufacturer of the Year , in the National Fenestration Awards 2020 , having achieved third place back in 2019 .
As we head into 2021 , we can see light at the end of the tunnel thanks to the global R & D from drug companies to find a vaccine , while the supply issues that have plagued the industry in some quarters , will likely cease by the end of Q1 . Though we fully expect demand for composite doors to be strong for the first two quarters and we ’ ll again be looking to support our Installer Partners throughout the year .
We ’ ve enjoyed a long and sustained period of growth with increased market share and this is set to continue in the year ahead , as installation companies seek the best possible solid and secure composite door partner . Delivering an excellent customer experience is something that resonates across Endurance Doors and we ’ re investing more than ever before to stay ahead .
Our product development programme will realise new colours and hardware this year and we ’ ve a full programme of capital investment and recruitment planned . It ’ s important for us to invest early and ahead of demand . We ’ ll also be launching the Endurance Academy and a School of Excellence , as we look to invest further in our Installer Partners and it is , we believe , an industry first for the composite door sector .
Given the variables of last year we believe that business relationships and exceptional customer care will be critical in 2021 . While we can ’ t necessarily influence the macro factors that affect us all , what we can do is continue our journey in being one of the most influential and customer centric door companies in the UK .

NOT MISSING A BEAT IN 2021

» RATHER THAN MAKE BROAD predictions about how the market might play out only for those to fall flat , this year I will stick to predictions that I have a high degree of control over : what we at Apeer and Lumi will be doing in the next few months …
We have some exciting additions to our Apeer doors and Lumi windows …. brand new products under both brands that will extend the reach of the best-selling products for Apeer ; and which will add new market opportunities for Lumi .
Further factory investment will allow us to produce even more product options for homeowners and which will give our dealers a nice edge over their competitors : exciting new glass options and even more choice for colour will be included .
The roll out of our new marketing package was delayed by the lockdown last March but the new Apeer website was unveiled only a few weeks later than scheduled , a great effort by our team . With the focus on lead generation this is already producing higher volumes of high-quality leads for our Apeer retail customers .
The new Lumi website went live early in December , and both Apeer and Lumi will enjoy some exciting digital support . Having proved its value to us especially during the pandemic , video will continue to be at the core of our marketing for both brands .
With the increase in lead volumes , we will also focus on a ‘ pre-sales ’ service that will deliver qualified leads to our customers . New CRM systems will further refine the support that we give to our network to ensure our dealers have everything they need to make the most of the increased sales opportunities that we present for them .
Further support will be provided with new technical and other guides , in addition to new product samples and a focus on the details that our retail installer customers tell us make all the difference .
Now let ’ s see what the year can bring us to try and disrupt those plans !
