3.Lead & Mold Insurance. You’ve heard of some
new regulations out there, but you’re not quite
sure how they come into play or even if you need
to worry about it at all.
4. Pricing. What should you charge? You don’t
have Xactimate and you don’t want to just
throw a number out there. Is this going to be an
insurance claim? Will the homeowner want an
estimate up-front? How do you make sure you’re
not under or over bidding by A LOT? You don’t
want to lose the job though.
5. You need to get paid. You told the homeowner
“It’ll be a couple thousand, but your insurance
should cover it.” Your buddies over on TMF
suggested $5,500 and that’s what you’re thinking.
The insurance company?! They’re going to
cover it. Perfect! But now they want a detailed
estimate. And they want it in a certain format.
