purpose. The name of the new association
is the International Inspection, Cleaning
and Restoration Council of Associations
(IICRCA). It is an entirely different legal
entity and even though it shares some
connection with the IICRC, it has its own
by-laws, articles of incorporation and board of
directors. It has an entirely different mission
than that of IICRC. Its purpose is to bring
the entire cleaning, inspection, installation,
and restoration Industry under one roof by
uniting all associations and franchises and
their members that are connected with them.
The average carpet cleaning association
has only a few hundred members at most;
many of them are struggling for their very
survival. There are many benefits that a
large association with tens of thousands
of members can bring to the table that
a smaller association cannot, such as,
legitimate discounts of goods and services
that they really need and can use to reduce
their cost of doing business, best practices,
education, representation and a meaningful
convention that will truly address the needs
of small, medium and large companies in
a way that will contribute to their growth
and profitability. That is what the new
association, IICRCA, will do. Look for more
announcements about this exciting entity in
the very near future.

the abuse of power and monies that has
been associated with the IICRC in the past.

and revealing these things on every discussion
board that I could (including this one).
