We in formed them that we tell every client to be very careful when walking on tiled or laminate surfaces, as they will be slippery. They said no such conversation took place. They wanted the details of our Insurance company as they wished to deal with them direct and not us. Anyway, to cut a long... John Rooney I don’t see them winning this case, wouldn’t they have to prove that they slipped because of the moisture from the carpets. Aren’t homeowner responsible for what happens in their own house. Isn’t it obvious to the homeowner that they carpets are wet, afterall they setup the appointment, everyone knows carpets are wet when being cleaned. Shawn McCaulley I had a similar situation a few years ago doing a lobby at a hotel. They said guest slipped on marble floor and there were no signs. Luckily for me I had in writing that hotel was to provide signs and walk off matts, which they did. The front desk person removed them after I left and it was on camera. Saved my ass!
